CTC Scholarships are awarded to pay up to $3,950 annually per child for private school tuition for eligible low-income families ... OR ... A CTC Scholarship may be used to pay up to $500 in annual assistance for transportation to an out-of-district public school chosen by the scholarship parents.
The scholarships were made possible by the Corporate Tax Credit bill, passed by the 2001 Florida Legislature. CTC Scholarships are funded by direct corporate contributions to nonprofit scholarship funding organizations (SFO's) as designated by the state of Florida to receive and disburse CTC funding.
